
Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan-born actress whose family was based in Fes. She travelled across the world before landing to Los Angeles. With a mind initially geared toward journalism, Pernas' life took an unexpected twist when she received an invitation from a modeling person and eventually an actor agent who put her career on track. Her distinct look is attributable to her Moroccan mother and Galician father. Sofia Pernas, born 1989 in Los Angeles, is a Moroccan and Spanish actor. She is the star of The Brave. In the early years of her five, she moved to America and settled within Orange County. She's multilingual like her mother from Morocco and her Spanish father. So, she has four different languages, including Arabic, English, Spanish as well as German. Following her discovery, her career was changed from journalist to modeling and acting. She portrayed Marisa In The Young and the Restless and was a part of Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni in the CW TV show Jane the Virgin. In NBC's The Brave, she plays Hannah Rivera, a Defense Intelligence Agency part of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
