Katherine Heigl reveals that she was brought up in a white bubble, and how that influenced how she raised adopted multiracial children. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recently that, in terms of skin colour, it doesn't really matter. But after speaking to her sister who is adopted from South Korea she realized just how differently society treats people of different races. I asked Meg if when she was out with her parents, she got a particular treatment and when out alone, she got a completely different kind of treatment. Meg responded "Oh Yes, all the time!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." She admitted that she was angry, but she felt it was necessary to use her anger to support her daughters. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- the singer Josh Kelley -- have an infant son, aged 4 years old.
