Since she was born without a left hand, Lockhart is an important part of her. But it's not the entire tale. As a result Lockhart's Instagram account does not shy away from her disabilities, yet it doesn't center around it either. It's a reminder. It is important to remember that each of us has numerous faces. Our identities are varied and we are much greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart stated in a video interview that she didn't want to be defined by her physical disability. She doesn't wish to become a disability advocate who only talks about disability. There are a variety of aspects to Lockhart. This doesn't interfere with my daily life. Everything is normal and I've learned how to make adjustments. It's a big element of my life and it's imperative to talk about the subject. Lockhart, a real source of inspiration for anyone who wants to be self-accepting she is on a long journey to achieve it. She still admits having gone through a series of phases in her body, and felt insecure at times to wear outfits that showcased the arms of her. Nowadays, she dresses what she's comfortable in and post pictures of herself in these outfits on social media with pride. The self-love she talks about is a process. I'm not sure whether you'll get to the point of no return. It's the same for everybody regardless of how much they are afraid. The people you surround yourself with, who know your personal story and who can look into your heart are the most important people who can remind you of the things you're worried about.
